Thea Botanicals was born from a desire to bring that ancient, quiet wisdom into our modern, hurried lives. Moving away from the quiet meadows of my home, the contrast of the modern world was startling. I saw a world trying to solve its exhaustion with convenience, drinking teas that were little more than dust in a bag. It pained me to see the vital energy of our Baltic traditions being lost to this frantic pace. I knew I couldn't just sit by; I had to bring back a way of living that honors the body’s need for real, living nourishment. We don't need another pill; we need to remember the honesty of the leaf.

I founded THEA because the world didn't need another 'quick fix'; it needed a return to integrity. By combining the hand-gathered traditions of the Baltics with a modern understanding of the body, we’ve created something far deeper than a drink. Where are THEA Botanicals herbs sourced?

Our herbs are sourced from Organic Herb Trading Ltd, one of the UK's longest-established certified organic herb suppliers, operating since 1982. The finished blends are hand-weighed and packed in the UK at our registered food business premises in Ewell, Surrey. We source organically grown herbs because quality of ingredient directly determines quality of cup.

What is the Secret Garden?

The Secret Garden is THEA's subscriber-only digital space — a collection of guided meditations, ritual guides and wellness content paired to each blend. Access is unlocked with a passcode included in every order. It is our way of offering something beyond a product — a genuine ongoing ritual practice for customers who want to go deeper.

Are THEA Botanicals teas certified organic?

Our herbs are sourced from certified organic growers via Organic Herb Trading, a certified organic supplier. The finished THEA blends are not themselves certified organic — that certification applies to the growing and supply of the raw herbs, not to our blending operation. We are transparent about this distinction. What we can say is that every herb in every blend comes from certified organic sources.
